Steadybook

Steadybook Privacy Policy

Effective: 2026-08-21 · Version: 1.0

The short version

Steadybook runs on your device. Your clients' details, your appointments, your notes and your money records are stored on the iPhone or iPad you use them on, and are not sent to us. We do not have a server that holds your data, and we cannot see it.

That is not a promise about how carefully we handle your data. It is a statement about where it is: we are not holding any.

Who we are

Steadybook is published by Erkan Bircan, an individual developer based in Türkiye. Contact: privacy@selvola.com.

For the EU and UK, this makes you — the professional using Steadybook — the controller of your clients' personal data. We are not a processor for you, because we never receive that data.

What Steadybook stores, and where

Everything below is stored on your device only, inside the app's own storage, protected by iOS file protection and your device passcode:

WhatWhy it exists
Client names and contact detailsSo you know who an appointment is with
Appointments, attendance, cancellationsThe book itself
Session notesYour own record of what happened
Intake form answersWhat you asked a client before their first visit
Consent recordsEvidence that a client agreed to a document you showed them
Invoices, payments, credit ledgerWhat was owed and what was paid

Nothing in that table is transmitted to us or to anyone else by the app.

What leaves your device, and only when you ask

What we collect

Nothing. Steadybook contains no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting service and no tracking of any kind. It makes no network requests for its own purposes.

Payments

Steadybook is a one-time purchase through the App Store. Apple handles the transaction and tells us nothing about you beyond aggregate sales figures. We never see your payment details.

Your clients' rights

Because you hold your clients' data, requests from them come to you, not to us. Steadybook gives you what you need to answer:

If a client contacts us directly, we will tell them we do not hold their data and refer them to the professional they are a client of.

How long data is kept

Session notes are deleted on a clock you choose: 12, 24 or 36 months after the session, or never. Financial records — invoices, payments and the credit ledger — are kept for ten years and are never deleted automatically, because tax law requires them.

Deleting the app deletes everything it stored, with no way to recover it unless you exported first.

Children

Steadybook is a tool for professionals and is not directed at children. If you book minors as clients, their details are your records under your own legal basis, held on your device.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what leaves your device, the app will say so before the change takes effect.
